"I suffer chronic running injuries a few times a year, fixyourbody.com allows me to have as few interruptions in my training schedule as possible." - Marie Davis, 8-time All American at the University of Oregon in the 1500m, 3000m, and 5000m, member of the Nike Running Team I experience pain in the heel on the bottom of my foot when I step out of bed in the morning. The pain I feel in my foot can extend from my heel, along the sole of the foot, and to the ball of my foot. These symptoms can arise or increase whenever I am on my feet for an extended period of time. I twisted my ankle while running or performing other activities. My ankle is "tender" to touch and is enlarged in size. Walking has become difficult.Achilles (Calf) Injury Solution Packages The tendon on the back of my leg, behind my ankle, which attaches to my heel is very sore and painful especially after walking or running activities. Whenever I need to use my legs for activity my symptoms in this tendon seem to increase. I have battled achilles tendonitis for longer than 12 months. I have been able to remain active and/or run through it at times, but the pain and discomfort constantly returns to the back of my lower leg (calf muscle and/or achilles tendon). The muscle on the back of my thigh became very sore and painful when I was running and took a stride that was "too long." The pain forced me to stop running and has limited any activities involving my legs since the injury occurred. The tendon on the front of my knee, directly below my knee cap is very tender and makes it painful to run; especially up or down hills. Jumping can also increase my symptoms. My knee has constant, general pain with no exact location. The pain in my knee does get worse after activity. This pain has been present for greater than nine months. A medical doctor has evaluated my knee and determined that there is no structural damage except cartilage deterioration. My knee has a tendency to "give out" when I have to apply weight to my leg (i.e.- walking, standing, etc.). Walking down hills is very difficult. My knee does not feel "painful," but it does feel "unsteady. I have just started running or increased the amount of activity involving my legs and have started to have pain on the front of my shins. I notice the pain when I pull my ankle up and squeeze the muscle on the front of my shin. The pain worsens when I try to start running again.
